The Warm Homes: Local Grant provides energy performance upgrades and low-carbon heating through local authorities in England. It is aimed at low-income households in privately owned homes, whether owner-occupied or privately rented, with an Energy Performance Certificate rating between D and G.
Measures can include wall, loft and underfloor insulation, air source heat pumps, smart controls and solar panels. Each participating council or consortium runs its own application process, so the first step is your council's website. The government publishes the list of authorities that received funding.
