International recruitment in Ireland: what decides the scope and the price, what a business needs to know to quote properly, and what applies here, from permits to SEAI grants. A recruiter can find and assess candidates; the sponsorship itself stays with you. This page sets out how the pieces fit together before you brief anyone. Your request goes to exactly one business in your area.

Who pays what
The worker pays their own visa application fee and the immigration health surcharge. Current employer charges are listed on this page.
Recruiter fees are a separate commercial matter between you and the recruiter. Workers who borrowed to pay recruitment fees are easy to exploit, and that risk lands on your business too.
In Ireland: employment permits
Workers from the EU, the EEA and Switzerland can work in Ireland without an employment permit. Most workers from other countries need one, issued by the Department of Enterprise, and the type of permit depends on the role and salary. A specialist agency can prepare the application, but the employer stays responsible.
Candidate data is personal data under the GDPR; the Data Protection Commission is the regulator.

Make a requestHow your request reaches one business
You confirm your mobile number with a text code and your email address with a link. We then show the request to businesses in your area, without your name or contact details. Only one business can take it on; it pays Offrano for the request, and it costs you nothing.
Before that business sees your details, we email you its name, address and phone number. We check only that it is a registered business, for example through its Companies Registration Office entry or VAT number, not the quality of its work. We cannot promise that a business will respond; if nobody takes the request within 21 days, we withdraw it. Offrano is not a party to any contract for the work.

Can a recruitment agency sponsor workers for us?
Not to supply them to you.
Can the recruiter advise our candidate on their visa?
Only if it is qualified to give immigration advice, meaning registered with the Immigration Advice Authority or authorised by a designated professional body. Otherwise it can explain the general process but should refer individual questions to a regulated adviser or immigration solicitor.
Can we pass the Immigration Skills Charge on to the worker?
No. The same applies to the licence fee and the certificate of sponsorship.
Do EU workers need an employment permit?
No. Workers from the EU, the EEA and Switzerland do not need one.
What does the request cost me?
Nothing. The business that takes on your request pays Offrano for it. Whether you accept its quote is entirely up to you.
Why does only one business get my request?
So that you are not called by several firms at once. The business that takes it on has the request to itself.
