For customers
What does the request cost me?
Nothing. Offrano is paid by the businesses: whoever takes on a request pays a fixed price for it.
Do I have to hire the business?
No. The request is without obligation. Whether you give the job to the business, and on what terms, is between you and the business.
Why do you need my mobile number?
The business that takes on your request gets in touch by phone or email – so it needs your number. The code by text message shows that the number is yours. Other businesses do not receive it.
What if no business takes it on?
That can happen – we cannot promise a job. If no business takes on your request within 21 days, we withdraw it.
How do I withdraw my consent?
Using the withdrawal link in our email to you. After that, we no longer pass on your request.
Can I make a request as a company?
Yes, where the service allows it. Enter your company name in the form.
Do businesses see my name before they buy the request?
No. Before buying they only see the basics with postcode and town – without your name, street, phone number or email.
For businesses
Can a request be sold more than once?
No. Each request is sold exactly once. When you buy it, it disappears from the shop.
What if the customer withdraws shortly after I buy?
That is what the 24-hour buyer protection is for: if the customer withdraws within 24 hours of your purchase, we refund the full price automatically to the payment method you used. You do not need to do anything.
How many requests are there in my area?
That depends on the service and the area, and we do not quote figures we cannot back up. Once your account is activated, the shop shows which requests are currently open.
What does the customer learn about my business?
Your business's name, address and phone number – by email, before you see their contact details. So your call is expected.
Why is my business verified?
So that customers can rely on a real company being behind the call. We check that the business exists, not the quality of its work.
